Since adding a new baby to the family it has become a little more difficult to hang all our laundry. For one, baby clothes are tiny and there are alot of them. I always have mounds of laundry to do. It seems like it is a never ending chore for me.
So I have decided that instead of giving up on hanging laundry all together I am going to try and hang my heavy loads. My goal is to hang our towels, blankets, sheets, jeans and any other larger items. This way I can use the dryer a little less and maybe save a few dollars. When I do use the dryer I need to make sure my dryer balls are in there because they really do reduce my dryer time.

Line Drying Clothes
I love the smell of clothes after hanging on the line. The weather has been so hot and humid this last couple weeks I have been drying all my clothes inside. Hoping to put an end to that now that it is starting to get nicer out.
There is nothing more simpler than hanging your clothes out on a line to dry if your able. It's refreshing, peaceful and you can even save a few bucks off your utility bill.

Line Drying
But I was wrong. I love hanging my clothes and now I hang all my clothes with the exception of socks(there are just too many of them!) I have permantly changed the way I do laundry. It really has worked out well for me. Here are a few things I have learned about line drying.
1. Toss towels and jeans in the dryer for 5-10 minutes after line drying to get the crunchies out of them.
2. I hang all of my dark clothes in the shade to avoid fading.
3. Hang shirts upside down to avoid clothespin marks.
4. Bring clothespins inside each night to avoid getting them wet with dew and making them start to splinter.
Have any suggestions you would like to share?
