The weather finally turned nicer, at least for a few days. Less humidity and even a few days with temps in the low 80's. I was happy to start hanging laundry again. My 3-year old is getting pretty good at hanging up clothes. He always loves to help.
I love the smell of clothes after hanging on the line. The weather has been so hot and humid this last couple weeks I have been drying all my clothes inside. Hoping to put an end to that now that it is starting to get nicer out.
There is nothing more simpler than hanging your clothes out on a line to dry if your able. It's refreshing, peaceful and you can even save a few bucks off your utility bill.

ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to get a retractable clothesline for the garage for some time now - thanks for posting this to Simple Lives Thursday and spurring me on!

I do not have a clothesline I simply take my wooden clothes drying rack outside when ever the weather allows. I get the benefits of having a clothesline but I can use it year round no matter what the weather.
ReplyDeleteThe picture is awesome. You should turn it in to project laundry list clotheslines across America project http://www.laundrylist.org/map. It is great fun seeing where everyone is using clotheslines at and their pictures.
Thanks Mary!
