I went to Target last night, I spent $51.75. Here is what I got...
6 Beef Roasts
6 Chuck Steaks
5 packages of porkchops
(2 in each package, they each had $1.50 peelies on them making them range from $1.85-3.29)
3 packages stew meat
(Used 15 $2 Target Printable coupons. They went through fine for the stew meat as well.)
4 packages of tissue paper (clearanced to .24 each)
2 trial size of Johnson's soft lotion (used 2 $1/1 making these free with a .02 overage. I think these coupons were in the 02/22 RP)
6 Mott's applesauce (used the $1 printable Target coupon to make these .69 each)
12 cans of Market Pantry Soup (.54 each. Used the .50/2 Target printable to make these .27 each)
Pledge Multi-surface cleaner (priced at $3.89 used $1 Target printable and $2 Pledge site printable making it .89)
Glade Scented Oil Lasting Impressions (8.99 used $4 Target coupon sent to me in the mail and a $3 MC making it $1.99)
I also got some Hello Kitty stationary on clearance to put away for a gift.
Total price before coupons $120.93
Total I spent after coupons $51.75
I am new to this couponing thing so I have a question.. I saw that you used multiples of the meat coupons from Target. I went to the Full CUp site and saw the meat coupon.. Awesome but it says on it that you can only use one per transaction. So what is the secret to using multiples like you did? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt all depends on your stores guidlines. I have never had a problem using multiple coupons at any of my Targets as long as there was one coupon per item. However, you can stack coupons for example if you have one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon. You could check with your Targets policy on using multiple coupons. Or you could just start off with 2 or 3 and then work your way up if you want to go that route.
ReplyDeleteThe website is down right now, but you can go here:

Read the third article down about the Target Coupon Policy. That should help too.
Feel free to comment or email with any other questions. Thanks for reading.
Thanks so much! I just started staying at home and am so happy but am looking for ways to live frugaly so that it works out for our family. I am really excited about learning how to get bargains and spend less!
ReplyDeleteThat's great. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
ReplyDeleteNo lightbulbs at your store?
ReplyDeleteAnd did you use the .55 applesauce IP q's with the $1 TQ? I did that here and got them for .14 each. Sweet!
I did use the .55 Mott's coupons last week! I wish I could get my hands on more of them, but .69 is cheap too!
