Container Gardening

An easy way to shed a few bucks off your grocery bill is to have a small garden. You don't need a large area, you don't even need a yard. You can have a container garden. My family eats a lot lettuce and I probably spend about $4-5 a week on it. We have 2 planters right now that we have planted lettuce in. We are going to keep these on the deck and whenever we are wanting a salad we just go out and cut some off.

Whatever veggie your family eats a lot of I suggest you plant it. You just need a well drained container, soil, sun and water and you can have your very own organic produce. You can grow just about anything in a container, you are only limited by the size of your container.
