Homemade Playdough

A few years ago my younger boys were gifted with some homemade playdough. 3 years later we are still using that same playdough. My son, who is a lover of all things playdough, thought we needed to add some different colors to our collection. So we whipped up our own batch of playdough. Here is the recipe we used.

Homemade Playdough

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup salt
3 tsp cream of tarter
1 1/2 T oil
1 1/2 cup water

Place all ingredients into pan on stove. As the mixture gets warm it will start to get sticky. Keep stirring until you get the dough consistency. Remove from pan. Remember, the dough will be hot. You can add coloring at the beginning when you add all ingredients into the pan or you can wait and knead it in later once the dough has cooled.
