The Little Things

I am pretty excited about this little guy.
This is my first year planting watermelon. I have been wondering if and when I would get something on the never ending vines that have been creeping up my rows in the garden. Finally after coming home from spending the weekend at my in-laws I came home to this! And the best part? I found 4 more just like it!

I love having my own garden. It makes me so excited to check out there each day to see what has changed and what has grown overnight. It truly is amazing.

Linked to Talk about it Tuesday at the Lazy Organizer and Gratituesday at Heavenly Homemaker.

  1. Hooray!!! We moved this year and had to put off having a garden for yet another year. After seeing your cute little melon I can hardly wait for next spring!

  2. This is my first year to have a garden and it's so exciting to see every new thing develop. I already harvested and ate my snap peas. Now, I have cucumbers, tomoatoes, and peppers sprouting. It's so exciting!!
