A Well-Stocked Pantry - Pantry Staples

This is my pantry. Part of it. A well-stocked pantry provides all the makings for a good meal. With the right ingredients you can quickly create a variety of meals. Keeping these items in stock also means avoiding extra trips to the grocery store, saving you both time and money.

Everyone's pantry in different, although I think there are a few basic items you should try and always have on hand. Here they are.

Baking Powder
Yeast
Salt
Chocolate Chips
Corn Meal
Corn Starch
Oil-olive and canola
Powdered Milk
Vinegar
Honey

Condiments-

Miscellaneous Items (this is my list, you may or may not consider these for your pantry)

Remember to try and stock your pantry with items that you have bought at rock bottom prices. When something is on sale or you get it for a really great price, try and buy enough to last you until the next sale.

  1. Very nice! I operate the same way. You can see a picture of our pantry here:

Scroll down on the post and there are 2 pictures of the pantry - well, that was a year ago, and it's not exactly the same. I keep tp in my closet and the kitchen supplies under the kitchen sink, laundry supplies in the laundry room, bathroom supplies in there. What's in the pantry is pretty much just food and things for making/preserving food.

That way, I can shop out of our supplies and try to keep stocked up. It saves a lot of time and money.

    Yours is lovely!!!
