Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Homemade cinnamon rolls definitely fall under the "favorite foods" category for me. Here is a really easy recipe for them. I use my bread machine to make the dough. I can make up the rolls the night before and put them in the fridge. I just pop them into the oven the next morning for an easy and delicious breakfast.

Dough Ingredients:
1 cup plus 2 Tbs warm milk
3 Tbs oil
1 egg and 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups flour (I use bread flour)
1 tsp salt
3 tsp yeast

Filling Ingredients:
2 Tbs butter
2/3 cup brown sugar mixed with 1 Tbs cinnamon

Icing Ingredients:
1 tsp milk
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 Tbs butter
1 tsp vanilla

1. Place all dough ingredients into bread pan according to your bread machines directions (usually all wet first) and place on dough cycle.2. Once cycle is complete, place dough on a slightly floured surface and roll out into a large rectangle.
3. Spread 2 Tbs of melted butter over the entire surface and then sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mixture over the top.4. Roll up into a jelly roll and cut into 1" sections. 5. Place into well greased 9x13 pan and bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until brown.
6. Spread icing on as soon as rolls come out of the oven.(This is what you get when the kids dive into the rolls before you have a chance to get a picture.)
